FAQ About Fees

Q: Can I switch from Stand-Alone to a Retainer Client to avoid paying multiple deposits?
A: Yes! If you decide to retain Jametec, any deposit fees you have paid in the last 90 days will be credited towards your first retainer payment.

Q: How many proposals are included if I am a retainer client?
A: Our retainer clients receive first priority for proposal writing and there are no additional fees for each proposal written. We cannot guarantee how many contracts will come out in your service area in a given month.

Q: Where does your fee go in the contract?
A: Our fees are a separate invoice and is not included in the proposal submitted.

Q: What are the refund terms?
A: For stand-alone proposals, if your bid is somehow deemed non-compliant, you will receive a 100% refund of the Deposit. For retainer clients, if a bid is deemed non-compliant, you will receive a credit for that proposal’s estimated value (please see your individual General Service Agreement under ‘proposal estimated value’).

Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept all major credit cards and e-Transfer.

Q: Is tax included?
A: Yes.

Q: What price should I bid to be guaranteed winning?
A: We get asked this question the most, the answer is: the lower your price, the better your chance of winning, no we do not know what other companies are bidding before the bid closes. We recommend you pick the price that works best for your business.
